MELBOURNE, FL/ROCHESTER, NY, July 25, 2012 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has received an $8 million order from a country in the Middle East for Falcon® high-frequency manpack radios as part of its tactical radio modernization program.


The Falcon II® RF-5800H will provide this nation's armed forces with beyond line-of-sight terrestrial voice and data communications. The RF-5800H is part of the most fully integrated HF radio family in the world, offering advanced features such as Third Generation-Automatic Link Establishment, integrated data link protocols and embedded GPS receivers.
